Metairie Medical Provider, Claudia Guepet FNP-C, demonstrates how to do a intramuscular injection.

Hi everyone, this is Claudia, one of the medical providers here at Rejuvime. And I am here to talk to you about how to administer intramuscular injections. These are injections that you can safely do at home and they are just that. You inject into the muscle. So what we’re gonna do, we’re gonna make sure you have all your supplies ready. You are gonna have your syringe, your needles, your medication, and always have an alcohol swab. So you’re going to take your syringe and you’re going to first draw up with the yellow needle. Make sure you insert that into the syringe. Always clean your medication vial. And what you’re gonna do is you’re going to draw up the appropriate dose that is indicated. So you always want to turn it upside down, that way you’re able to draw up the appropriate medication. And in this case, we are going to draw up a full milliliter syringe of the medication. Always be careful not to draw up any air bubbles or air. If you do, you can always just tap it out as well. So once you have your medication in place, you can sit your vial back down. And we are going to switch the needles here because we are going to inject with the intramuscular needle and then we are ready to inject. And the different areas that you can actually inject are on the arm, on the top of your thighs and even your buttock. So you can insert in any of those areas that have muscle.

Low libido can affect confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. While stress, lifestyle, and emotional factors all play a role, one of the most common and often overlooked causes is hormone imbalance. When hormone levels are out of sync, both men and women may notice changes in sexual desire and performance . Understanding Libido and Hormones Libido, or sexual desire, is a complex process influenced by the brain, body, and emotions. Hormones act as the body’s chemical messengers, controlling everything from mood and metabolism to reproductive health. When hormone levels shift too high or too low, they can disrupt sexual desire. The three most important hormones connected to libido are testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. Each one influences sexual health differently, but all three work together to maintain balance.
