Our Lead Medical Provider, Holly Valentine, introduces herself and shares her story!
Hi, I’m Holly Valentine. I’m a nurse practitioner and the lead medical provider at Rejuvime Medical. So I’m from Denham Springs, Louisiana, and I went to school at UL Lafayette for my master’s as a family nurse practitioner. And I’ve been a nurse practitioner now for about 10 years. So I worked as a nurse in both the ICU and the emergency room setting, and I realized I really just wanted to do more for my patients. When you work in the hospital, it feels like a lot of times you’re doing stuff to patients, and not necessarily for them. And so I knew that I wanted more and a deeper connection with my patients. Throughout the day at Rejuvime, I’m having consultations with my patients. And during these consultations, we are reviewing their medical histories and reviewing their lab results and really explaining to them why they feel the way they feel, and offering them treatment options to help improve their life and their symptoms. Rejuvime Medical is a no-pressure business. We are really about your health, your wellness,and your education. And so that initial consultation is really about education and just learning why you feel the way you feel, and how your hormones play into that. We are gonna recommend you a comprehensive treatment plan, but at that point, it is your option to decide which treatments you want to take, and we can help you feel more comfortable with anything that you decide. My favorite service is the hormone replacement therapy, but specifically for couples, I love treating husbands and wives together and getting their hormones on the same page. It is really transformative for them as individuals and for them together as a couple. So, early in my career, a couple came in together. They were on the verge of divorce. Every aspect of their lives and their relationship was falling apart, literally. And we got them both started on the right treatment plan with their hormone therapy. It helped save their marriage, and that is the reason why we do what we do.
