Get to know Marisol Jobe, one of the medical providers at our Monroe location of Rejuvime Medical! Join us as Marisol discusses her nurse practitioner journey, her favorite patient stories, and what makes Rejuvime different from other clinics!

Hi, I’m Marisol Jobe. I’m a trained family nurse practitioner at Rejuvime Medical.I’m from Arizona, and I received my first bachelor’s in biology and a minor in kinesiology in 2004 from Arizona State and then I later moved to Baton Rouge, where I went to nursing school at Our Lady of the Lake College and received my bachelor’s in nursing in 2015.When my family and I moved to Monroe, Louisiana, I attended University of Louisiana Monroe and received my masters as a family nurse practitioner. My favorite Rejuvime story is one of my patients, a 43 year old male who is a U.S. veteran that came to me with severe aches and pains. After we drew his labs and analyzed what could be the cause of his underlying aches and pains, he was placed on testosterone replacement therapy. And only after about a month, he called back and letting us know that he felt so much better and his anxieties and aches and pains, which felt like fibromyalgia, had completely disappeared, and he just couldn’t believe it. I just feel that this story is a great example of how hormone replacement therapy can benefit, people in many ways. Typically, my day begins with preparing my charts for the day and, calling patients for their follow appointments. Also, seeing new patients face to face and annuals face to face. Another aspect of my day includes having time to talk to my nurses and helping to educate them about the latest and greatest hormone replacement therapy information. I feel that Rejuvime Medical is different from other clinics in that we are more of a concierge service. We are able to spend a lot of time with our patients and get through talking about their labs and details and offering different options that we have,as well as forming an individualized treatment plan.

Low libido can affect confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. While stress, lifestyle, and emotional factors all play a role, one of the most common and often overlooked causes is hormone imbalance. When hormone levels are out of sync, both men and women may notice changes in sexual desire and performance . Understanding Libido and Hormones Libido, or sexual desire, is a complex process influenced by the brain, body, and emotions. Hormones act as the body’s chemical messengers, controlling everything from mood and metabolism to reproductive health. When hormone levels shift too high or too low, they can disrupt sexual desire. The three most important hormones connected to libido are testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. Each one influences sexual health differently, but all three work together to maintain balance.
