Get to know Mallory McKernan, one of the medical providers at our Prairieville location of Rejuvime Medical!

Hey, everyone. My name is Mallory and I’m your medical provider at our Prairieville location.I went to school for both my undergraduate and graduate degree at Southeastern. One of the main reasons I wanted to become a nurse practitioner was to be able to provide that continuing care and have that close follow up and rapport with all my patients. One of my favorite things about working at Rejuvime Medical is the teamwork that’s here, whether it’s between the providers, the nursing staff, the billing department, ordering, everyone works together as a team to provide the best patient care. One of my favorite services that Rejuvime offers is weight loss management. I love having patients come in not feeling their best, and be able to get them started on medication, and they come in, follow up, and they feel a hundred times better. It’s so rewarding. So let’s see, my day to day at the office, I usually come in, drink my morning coffee.I look through my patients’ charts. I have some consultations with patients. Some days I’ll do some injections like Botox or filler, maybe place a pellet. But for the most part, just really those consultations with the patient, whether that’s in person or on a phone. The main difference at Rejuvime Medical is we truly provide that concierge medicine, making sure our patients remain the top priority. If you’re interested in any of the treatments that Rejuvime has to offer, please come see us and come have a consultation, so I get to meet you!

Low libido can affect confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. While stress, lifestyle, and emotional factors all play a role, one of the most common and often overlooked causes is hormone imbalance. When hormone levels are out of sync, both men and women may notice changes in sexual desire and performance . Understanding Libido and Hormones Libido, or sexual desire, is a complex process influenced by the brain, body, and emotions. Hormones act as the body’s chemical messengers, controlling everything from mood and metabolism to reproductive health. When hormone levels shift too high or too low, they can disrupt sexual desire. The three most important hormones connected to libido are testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. Each one influences sexual health differently, but all three work together to maintain balance.
